this is nearly haute-couture, I think. Love the skirt, must look really great if somebody wears it and it twirls around the legs.

It's absolutely gorgeous! I love the emboidery Cheesy
If you're interested in some constructive critisism, be careful that the lining doesn't show on the outside. I just noticed that it did a little bit on the last pic...
But you've done a great job!! I love it <3

So much creativity..
So little time...

I have an Epla-shop for my paper bead earrings (it's like Etsy, but in Norwegian):

That is soooo pretty! It's simple and delicate but still has movement. You must inspire many prom/grad dresses. And Costume students rule!

Yeah I did notice that! Thanks muchly anyway.

I did this project before I had any proper sewing lessons, and sort of just made it up as I went along.
I've now learnt the art of the understitch!!

I love this even though i always picture ariel as a man. (: It's beautiful- especially impressive if you haven't had "proper sewing lessons!"

I had seen a number of productions where there were some different interpretations of Ariel so i thought "why not!?"

One had a trio (two ladies and a man) playing Ariel, they would speak in an echo and move in a group! It was pretty cool.

it's really pretty and really it shouldn't be a costume, it's to beautiful to be only wear it on stage.
