OOOh pics!!  Grin  Glad you like it all Lindsey. I did make you 6 headbands but one got lost prior to packaging it all up  Undecided I found it yesterday...typical. The bicycle one is rather sweet isn't it?
The knitted headband fits you well *phew* I tied random lengths of different blues/purples together for it, I think it came out nice.
The little book was my first attempt at making a book  Grin Using my 2nd and 3rd attempts at papermaking for the pages! My 1st homemade paper was horrible stuff lol and you can feel a distinct improvement between #2 and #3 as well.
The embroidery bag was made using MissMeshells tutorial on here, although I didn't quilt it....I wouldn't know where to start.
Its GREAT to see pics of my bits and pieces in their new home LOL

I got my package from Linzo this morning

Grin Grin Grin Grin HAPPY UNBIRTHDAY TO ME  Grin Grin Grin Grin
I'll be adding pics shortly but I wanted to come and say THANK YOU straight away  Smiley

Linzo made me a knitting apron.... specifically a "knitting in the garden" apron!!!! I was only saying to my Beloved last night that I really could do with an apron. Lindsey, you SHOULD be proud of it, you have done a smashing job. I will proudly wear the "biggest thing I have tackled...probably ever"  - I feel SPECIAL  Smiley The fabric is lovely, no need to worry on that score, I hear you about the lack of supplies in rural areas though....we're semi rural and have only one shop that sells fabric etc. I hope making it has given you the confidence to sew other things, you really have made a good job on it.
Linzo also made me a lovely purple beaded spider  Grin Grin I think I might have to get my wire out later and make a web.
Would it be suitable to put outside in the garden Lindsey? I made a wire dragonfly last week to brighten up the trellis where my plants aren't climbing and thought maybe the spider could go there too. If not I'm going to hang it in the window at the top of my stairs where the sun will shine on its lovely purple body  Smiley
I also got a huge paper star. Purple of course  Wink I'm going to hang it over my desk to brighten up my dark corner.

thanks so much Linzo, you've brightened up a rather dreary day  Kiss

PICS!! yay  Smiley I'll add an action shot later

and here's a bad cellphone photo of me wearing my lovely new apron, scissors in one hand, coffee in the other....I'm all set to go  Wink

Oh good I am so glad you like everything. I was super nervous... and I am so happy to have brightened your day!:)

I think the spider could handle being outdoors... I really like the idea of you making her a web. If you do I would love to see pictures.

I am really excited about sewing even more now, I really love doing it but sometimes it scares me. If only you could have seen the look on my face while cutting the patten out and during the entire sewing process...Shocked it was kind if like that. hahaha That was also the first time I ever used a pattern and I totally winged it on the pockets!
Thanks for being my test subject:D

My face is more  Angry when I'm pattern cutting! You have no idea how seriously I am in love with my apron ...seriously seriously LOL I wore it all day yesterday....even after I'd got my pjs on last night   Grin If ever you fancied it I would do a personal swap with you for another apron, gotta get your moneys worth out of that pattern  Wink
I was thinking about aprons along with the eco-craftalong .....  our grandmothers protected their clothes by wearing an apron during their day to day life and didn't do half the amount of washing as we do nowadays. Hmmmm, and it would work well with this months cleaning theme too BONUS if its made out of something else originally!
OOops totally hijacked the thread there for a moment.
Back to THIS now.

I MADE A WEB  Grin

and hung her in the garden this morning  Smiley
