My daughter's halloween costume.  It's actually the first thing that I have used a pattern to make (although I had to shorten it twice for my munchkin.)  The material was 1.00 a yd at Wal-Mart on the discount table  Smiley

Thanks for all of the positive comments.  She had a ball in her costume and everyone loved it.  Plus, I was secretly thrilled when my mom told me that the poodle skirt was much cuter than the generic princess costume that she tried to talk me into at the disney store.  Maybe I am showing my age, but I just love seeing kids in handmade costumes for halloween.
