I dig Star Wars.

I seem to have a hard time managing anything under about 12 stitches in circumference, so that's why his legs are so big. But he still turned out pretty fun.

Brilliant! I love all the silvery detail you put in, that's pretty fiddly to do I imagine, he looks very realistic.

Excellent! I am working on a Star Wars themed gift pack for my brother's birthday, so I might have to give this a try. We have an R2D2 USPS mailbox around the corner, so I'm taking a picture and framing it up for him. Hmmm...with my R2D2 Mr. Potato Head, I sense an R2D2 theme...I might have to delay the Yoda fleece throw until Christmas and maybe do a Yoda theme for that...

Thanks for the great idea!

Heh! Yeah, R2 and C3PO got a family membership. Hmm ... I wonder if they make gold Glitterspun yarn.

I have seen this (thanks for the link, though Wink ), but I don't have a color printer (might need to bribe my sister). And my brother is going to be 42 this year, but he'll still get a kick out of it!
