hello all, inspired by emalicious78's post I decided to take a crack at book binding so here's the product!:
here's all of them except the little fabric 1:

here's the fabric 1:

here's the german map 1: i love this one cause it was 100% free as I got the map book for free at a garage sale and I used a button I found and recycled paper. Smiley:

here's the postcard one:

and look there's writing inside lol:

ok well thanks for looking, and feel free to comment! have an awesome day!

I love these! The button closure is really cute. I like the orange fabric...It looks very 70's. I could picture a chair being upholstered in it. Haha! Cheesy

How did you bind these? Did you sew them or use glue?

I have an online lit mag but we want to do print eventually; at kinkos and staples and all those other places it would cost about $900 but if i print it myself it would cost about $50, BUT i'd have to bind it myself. I was thinknig of just having a sit-down with my editors and saddle-stitching them, but how long do you think that would take for 300 issues?! Am i crazy or could i totally do it?

hmmm you'd have to have aLOT of patience to do 300. but i think it could be done! I can finish one in about 5 mins. check out the other post for a nice drawign of how to do it:
