My needle roll is based off of the one in Stitch'n'Bitch. I had to make the roll quite a bit smaller, as the dimensions of the pattern in the book were huge!

It holds the needles I have and leaves me room for more! Whee!

It looks great!  I contemplated going by their pattern, but I decided to make one that hangs instead.

Yes, the top folds over so that I can roll it up. There are ribbon ties on the sides as well.

I thought about a hanging one, but the roll works for me now. I'd love to see your hanging one!

It's on my craft blog.  Actually I made 3 different ones.  One for straight, one for circs, and one for dpn/crochet hooks.

Here's the link. needles

Love the needle holders! The tropical placemats look fab!

One day I too may have enough needles for 3 needle holders!

Thanks!  Most of those needles were given to me by a friend who doesn't knit anymore.

Thanks Heather!

I was tired of the needles being everywhere, so a needle roll was my answers. I may have o put in a few more small pockets for tiny things. They get lost in the current pockets.
