I needed a bag to carry my yoga mat around in ( and to store it when I am slacking and not doing yoga). I was looking for simple and here simple is. I wanted to avoid sewing straps and adding toggles to close the top, so the handle is also a drawstring. The bag is not lined as the fabric is a bit heavy. It works quite well and I'm enjoying it!

Thanks! Drawstings do work wonderfully.

That fabric was from Joannes a few months ago. The bag was super simple to sew up, after I mastered the round seam at the bottom!

That is so adorable! I love the fabric! I don't do yoga, but I am thinking of making one for my fold up chair for the beach. That plain black nylon is UGLY and I do want to stand out!!
