The only sachet type things I have ever made are by adding some fragrance to a blend of dried rose petals and lavender buds and packaging in one of those little organza pouches. Now I need to make a sachet for a guy (is there a manlier word for it?) and need to tough it up a little. I was going to crochet a little bag or 2 squares with a skull on it, but I'm not sure what to put inside. I was thinking fiberfill with some of the fragrance, but is fiberfill absorbent? Maybe cotton?

Also, has anybody made those envelope type sachets that you put in drawers? I don't know what kind of material goes inside of those either.

why not try flaxseed like they use on eye pillows? you can scent with geranium. my husband likes that scent and it has an herbal manly scent to it, but it's not too strong unless u add too much.

or maybe a eucalyptus scent?

good luck!

Oh, genius! Thank you, thank you! I have tons of flax seeds too, but never would have thought of it! Grin

I don't have regular geranium eo, will have to get some to try, I just have egyptian rose geranium, which pretty much smells like roses.

Actually, the guy that ordered this stuff wants it all to smell like anise! He's obsessed with it.

Maybe if these flax seeds work well I'll add sachets back to my line!
