I *heart* fiber Friday Grin Here's my offering. This yarn was spun fromthe Spunky Fiber of the Month club. It's called Strawberry Fields and I think she did an excellent dye job. It's 4 ounces of sport weight and approximately 320 yards. (I apologize for the dark pictures)

Here is some stuff I have done.

I got my Mother Marion Spinning Wheel and here it is Cheesy. It looks small but it is HUGE!!! and you kick spin it ! It's so fun and faster than a regular drop spindle, and it also allows you to do coils and all sorts of fun stuff that could be difficult on a spindle

This is a crappy picture but it's to show the colors, I spun this single up and it is 100% Superwash and it is amazing to spin I love it! I spun it and it was at 122 yards, but I have about half the fiber left. I am in the process of plying it with some teal/turqouise sewing thread and I love the way it looks...but I now realize the single was supposed to be not set and spun in a Z twist...ohwell but I like it Cheesy

I haven't come up with a name for this but it is really crappy practice romney wool that I got, I love the colors, I am going to ply it back on itself. Yardage now is about 61 yards, and I have more fiber that I will probly spin since when you ply it back on itself it takes 1/2 the yardage or more out.

Glad to share this with everyone Cheesy

I USED TO BE 007lucious_lips!!!!! I MOVED!

just a few comments on the yarns:
knitwit - I love breakout, the black/bright color striping looks great.
Laamissa - Spring in NY is gorgeous, almost better than the real thing.
feralfeminine-great yarns, and your drop spindles are neat - i might have learned to use one, if mine looked like that.   Wink

Everything is amazing, but I really just have to say to theboythatspins that your spinning wheel is just about the coolest thing I have ever seen.

Hooray - it's Friday!  Here are my two offerings... they were both sent to my partner for the Handspun/Handcrafted 2 swap and are in the gallery, but I thought I'd post them again here.

no name; Handdyed 100% merino - turquoise and purple; 150 yds 2-ply, worsted weight

Santa's Pants!  100% handdyed merino plied with a red metallic thread; about 68 yds worsted weight
