I haven't posted in the looooonnnngest time! This is a project that I worked on for my Apparel Design by Flat Pattern class. I had a partner for it so it wasn't all me (just wanted to give credit where credit was due). It's a purple kimono sleeve top that we drafted a pattern for and then sewed up. My friend Tracy is modeling it and she is a little smaller than our dressforms so it is a little big on her. Hopefully the links work!



Back...you can't really tell in the picture but the deep V is filled in with several layers of gold tulle

Last picture of my lovely model! It was soo much of a pain to match up those plaids!

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions of what I should do next time (but be nice!).  Smiley

great design! i like the juxtaposition of the plaid with an 'oriental' feel design.
