Hello! I'm looking for fabric with overly large polka dots (like 3") maybe in red.  Is this impossible?  Should I just make the fabric instead?

thanks!

You mean like block-printing?  Depends on what you'll be making out of it, I think.  Meaning that it's going to look hand-printed, so if what you're making is on the dressier side, I think you'd be better off buying fabric.

There is a post on here somewhere listing online fabric sites.  Also, Ebay always has tons of yardage for sale, and you can search for "large polka dots" or whatever.

I'm going to be making a simple sack dress with white on red polka dots.  I've seen it somewhere and have been wanting it forever.  Maybe using resists for the white polka dots and immersing white cotton in some red dye.  I should probably take this to the fiber thread but I was just wondering if anyone has seen any large polka dot fabric around.  I have a lot of websites that I browse for fabrics and have yet to see the perfect one.
