Oohhhhh, Ahhhhh..... I love the smocky-shirt. It looks so pretty on you. Fleur_delicious, nice work.

Thanks, Raquel! (you rowdy vamp, you) I'd forgotten how agonizing it is to sew for an absent body, dressmaker's dummy or no. I'm amazed that it fit - I was so sure I'd mess it up somehow.
Well, you happened to pull of the top off succesfully. Sewing for someone I've never met scares the bejesus out of me.
A couple of more questions:
What kind of fabric is that. I can't tell if it's some shiny blue or velvet. And...Did you use a pattern?

It's black uh...jacquard (SP) I think.  parts are matted and parts are shiny. Sorry, I wasn't on the up and up about details was I? Things have been craaaaazy around here, and the package was well timed. Smiley

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but I need another angel...for dreamergirl.  Her package has gotten lost in the post!  I will tell you that she lives in Bulgaria, so keep that in mind.  I was wondering if anyone here would volunteer, before I post in the angel thread?  Please get in contact with me if you would be interested.  Dreamergirl is an awesome craftster, so lets get her a package!

Stop the presses! Stop the presses! I have just received!  Cheesy

Thank you, psyche, for the wonderful parsel. I totally love all the stuff. When I saw the pink skull patch I literally went "Awww". I'll have to pierce my ears now, to wear the earrings. And I'm not much of a cook, but I do bake and I'll be making some wicked muffins in the coolest apron ever. I'm diging the NYC/Canada goodies as well. My mom hugged the cute totem pole and said "This is the coolest!" Sorry if I'm forgetting stuff but everything is in the other room. And I think it's better for you to post pics and not to wait for me with my inconvenience of not havig a digital camera.

Thank you, superhooker, for being such a cool organizer. I'm forever endebted to you for standing me at my most annoying, and being so helpful.

PS: psyche, how did you know I loved bubbly chocolate??

ok, I'm totally late posting pics and their quality is so... Shocked  Angry ... shockingly bad (camera phone), I'm sorry.

Here's what I got from psyche. Sorry, they're all mixed up and not organized into themes. She sent me some gothy, some Canadian, and some NYC stuff.

Sonic Youth T-shirt, Sparkly Skull Apron, And her letter and a NY card:

Closeup of the sparkly skull fabric:

Patches!! Sorry, my rooms a mess, and I lost the purple lightning patch before I took the pic. I'll find it, I promise.

Earrings. You can't see them very well, but those key earrings are really pretty:

The Canadian goodies. A totem pole, playing cards, and shot glass that lights up when you slam it. *deep and gruff voice*: Guess I'll have to start drinking now. lol  Tongue
btw, Does anyone know how to play the card game Speed??

The Totem pole next to my old broken Hello Kitty clock. Sorry, I just had to post this  Tongue :

Me in my new NY t-shirt (always wanted one). Now I can pretend I've been to NYC. And check out the leather cuff she sent me and silly old losery me thinking I'm so cool in my new leather cuff. lol Sorry I got in the way of you viewing the t-shirt.  Embarrassed

sorry again for being late with the pics and THANK YOU, PSYCHE!!
