Everything made here is amazing! I'm super jealous and wish I could have participated in this one. Hopefully there will be future rounds which I will be able to join.

Wow. Everything looks so nice.
I especially love the anatomically correct heart necklace and the day of the dead magnets.

Miss_westenra, that jewellry is awesome. I LOVE the black and green bracelet. Plus the dragons are so cool.

Sorry for all the questions but... What are those star things? And how did you make the pink heart? sooo detailed!

Thank you!

The star things are perler beads. The heart I traced from a picture in a zine called Craphound that has a whole bunch of clipart pictures (the one I have is heart hand and eye themed). I drew it on a sheet of shrinky dink then shrank it and all the detail remained.

What did you use to write on the shrinky dinks?  i tried to do the thing where you print them out from your printer, but when I baked them, all the ink smeared!  Plus, do you put the sheet of freezer paper over them, or just bake them with nothing on top?

I love that heart!

I used a permenant marker. I baked it on a piece of a paper bag, but most of the time they stick to it and end up kind of messy on one side. I don't put anything on top of them. I think I might try using aluminum foil next time. I just keep an eye on them to make sure they're not doing anything weird.

i've only done shrinkies once, but I used parchment paper and nothing stuck (cuz that's what the directions said).  i also used sharpies and nothing smeared.  Just a thought...

I love everything Superhooker made! She really went all out, above and beyond. Thank you!

Here is a picture of the entire collection:

Here is the badass hood she sent me, modeled by the Cheat, since I am so unphotogenic. It has spikes along the top like a mohawk and silver stars at the bottom.

Skull and zombie jewelry with a handy box to put them in.

Day of the Dead soaps that smell really good, magnets of some of my favorite bands (and a werewolf!), with a skull bag.

A huge journal on the left, and two spooky reads to the right.

A drawstring bag to carry all my new goodies in.

And my favorite piece I saved for last! My new zombie friend with dangily eyeball, exposed brain and missing foot. (Detail pics to come soon)

Thanks so much superhooker!  Grin
