I like really big knickers and I recently learnt how to make them, I thought I could sell them... but... well... my husband thinks I'm insane!
Does anyone else think big knickers are the bomb...
...or is it just me!

I posted a few photos on my myspace:

(I hope that link works)

Tell me what you think - they do take some time to make, so if its not viable I'd rather save my energy and just make them for me!

Thankyou

Well..I don't know about the masses, but I'd buy them. I took a quick look at your page, and I love everything!

your knickers are to die for!! and the garter belt is awesome as well!! do they make patterns for knickers or did you wing it?

Some of it is from a pattern for 1970's Nanna Knickers! hehe! The rest is trial and error, the hard part is making it stretchy enough to go over your hips when you put them on but tight enough that you dont have a baggy waist and well... stretch satin aint that stretchy!
The garter belt is completely winged... but I think it turned out ok, I didnt show the clasp in the photos... that was botched a bit. Its reversable, its the same garter in both photo's... I think hooks that sit flat would be preferable to a reversable garter belt... thats something for next time!
Thankyou all for taking the time to give me feedback, and more is certainly welcome!!
Ta!

The suspender belt is very pretty, but I wear stockings a lot and I wouldn't buy one with less than 6 suspenders. I hope you don't mind me saying.  Smiley

"Stressed" is "desserts" spelled backwards.

I was just thinking of writing an ode to my granny panties. And if I could find them in sexier versions than stuff my real granny wouldn't be caught dead in, all the better.

Nothing says loving like being hugged by a pair of panties that could double as a parachute if you have to jump from a building... and I mean it. Particularly being preggers - I like to feel loved and supported.

Right on!

I like 6 suspenders too! - but I only had 4, and they were pinched off an old suspender belt that my pet rat chewed to bits, to be fair I did accidentally pack him into a removalists box full of lingerie... it was the little chewing noises that alerted me to his location.

but I agree 6 grips definitely give you better control of your seams!
