Hello!
I will be going to Sweden in June, primarily Stockholm and Jönköping and I was wondering if there were any yarn stores in the area that I should check out.  I'd like to find something unique to Sweden and that I can make something so I remember my trip.  Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks! Smiley

I've never been to Stockholm but I remember reading a blog entry about Stockholm yarn shops here. Hope that helps!

unfortunately there is not much fun in Jönköping. Two very boring yarnstores. But there is a very nice "organic store" that has organic cotton (both yarn and fibre) and organic woolyarn made in sweden. It's called Bikupan. You might want to check it out. They have a lot of other nice stuff too. Food mainly.

Organic cotton as fibre? In Sweden?! Shocked Do they have an email/phone number/anything I can reach them on? I need organic cotton fibre Grin

And to keep this a little on topic..
If you want to find something unique to Sweden I think you maybe should check out Ölands ullcentrum in Old Town in Stockholm (I think it's called Ullcentrum anyway). They've at least got yarn from Swedish designers (flax and wool I think). And Hemslöjden on Sveavägen 44 in Stockholm should have something too (I've never been there though, they're always closed when I walk by!!).
I'm sure there are more places that's worth a visit.. I just don't remember them right now..
