alright, so i'm a little biased.
i got the most amazingly beautiful skein of noro kureyon from my LYS and it sat on top of my stash for months while i was debating what to do with it.

finally, i decided i couldnt sit there and oogle it anymore, i needed to make it into something. since it was the only one of that color at the store, it had to be something small... so i decided a hat was the best choice.

pardon my evil expression and my unmade bed!

it's really hard taking a picture of the top of your head.

i don't know how to express my love for the colorway of this yarn. the only way i can think of is : if i could have sex with yarn, it would be with this one. Tongue
the only bad thing about it is that it had little sticks and stuff in it, but that makes me happy too!

Really nice hat, I'm jealous.  Has anyone ever told you that you look like Natalie Portman?

Agreed on all points! Love the hat.. would you be willing to share the pattern you used with a knitter gal who someday promises to learn how to crochet past a single chain? Eh, eh?  Grin

awww, thank you!  Embarrassed (i think thats supposed to be the blushie face).
the pattern is really easy, i made it up as i went along. i'll write one up if more people want one! lol.. but it will probably have a bunch of mistakes.
