ok so i lief, i'm not finished yet. the skirt needs some work.

i saw this hideous, full-pleated wide-whale courderoy skirt (but in a sassy turquoise, which drew me to it) for fifty cents at a church rummage sale. thinking of a skirt i saw at old navy, but despising pink, i decided to create my own. to give you an idea of just how hideous (i forgot to take a picture) it put about 70 lbs onto me, i kid you not. full pleats when you have big thighs = nono.

anyway, after a little work, and the help of a skirt i alreay own, i took this (actually, it came to mid calf. this is after i cut the top half off. i'm going to hem it, and call it a baby skirt Grin)

and made it into this:

when school's ove,r i'm going to finish and hopefully it will look simialr to this: (by the way, when i saw it, it's was in this pastel pink. i kinda like this wine color, but i have nothign red in my wardrobe. besides, that's 13 bucks and mine was only 50 cents  Grin

tell me whatchall think please  Kiss
