It's not terribly crafty, but it's the craftiest I've been in a while.

I got so sick of my boring white lampshades. I drew up a robot, taped it to the inside of the shade, and went over it in Sharpie. I haven't decided yet if I want to fill up the entire shade with robots and cog wheels and the such, but I immediately felt better.

Whole lampshade.

I think a border of cogs would be nice. It can obviously stand alone but I think the flare makes it need a border.

Yes, definitely do a top border of cogs, and then the robot in different poses along the bottom!  It's adorable!
