Butterflies, Buttons, & Crochet--ah, life is good!

This is the pattern from the Interweave Crochet Spring 2007 magazine called the On-the-Go Bag. I used a bulkier yarn than the pattern called for, which was also varigated, so I didn't have to switch colors every couple of rows. It only took a matter of a few hours to complete, and it's a project I'll probably do again. It's not too big on the outside but very roomy on the inside.
 
This is also my first felted project, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's so cool to see how much the crochet changes with little soap and hot water.
