I wanted to get into making cloth dolls. I bought 2 patterns off the internet and wanted to get the material. It looks like felt . Can anybody tell me what they use?

It probably is felt.  You can purchase a nice weight wool felt in a variety of colors at Joann's Fabrics and Crafts (our local sewing store).  I like wool felt because it doesn't stretch as much as the acrylic and isn't as fuzzy.  You can also probably buy it on E-bay if you like shopping online.

Hope this helps!
