I made the Jess Hutchison Bunny to go along with the bunny booties and the Kiddie Cadet hat for a baby gift for my sister. This pattern was easy to follow and very typical Jess Hutch. I made it using Caron Simply soft so it would be baby safe. I also switched out the safety eyes with embroidered eyes that were very Jess Hutch inspired. I embroidered Marjorie's initial on the belly so it would be a bit more personal. You can find out all the extra info on my blog.

I'm wondering the same thing!

You did a great job on it though, it looks so cuddly!

I detest that pattern - or rather, I detest all the other bunnies I have seen that were made from that pattern.
But I quite like yours!

Thank you for making the product of that pattern more ... viewer-friendly.
I think the difference is in the ears. Or is it the body?
Previous pictures I have seen just did not look cuddly. And yours does!

It looks great in fact.
Thank you.

Squeeeeeeeeeeee!!  Our little neice might be here by now, I can't even sleep I want to hear news!  Little Marjorie (Jojo) will love that bunny and all her other goodies.  She is going to be so lucky to have aunties like us!

I always think it is fun to play around with posing knit toys, and it just takes a little patience, balance, and a knitting needle stuck up the back side of it. Then angle your camera so the leg is in front of the needle or whatever else you use to help prop it up and it looks like it is standing!

I know what you mean about this pattern! I wasn't really to fond of it either, but since I couldn't really find any other free bunny patterns I figured I'd give a go. I didn't change anything on the pattern; I just think that the look of it really depends on the stuffing and the seaming, but who knows!

Thanks everyone!
