hehe, good questions, and I tried that when I was hosting the PAT Round 2.. it's honestly much better to just update after the comments, people can always use the "show images only" to see your pretties!

Definitely DO NOT post them in your original thread. You are right, they won't show up as new.  In the other galleries, we've posted, talked, posted, talked.  It works.

And yes, you made perfect sense!

Hee-hee, Selise was posting as I was. I didn't mention her name but yep, she tried it and it didn't work.  We still love her though.

Thanks everyone for leaving such positive remarks! Smiley

Here's another ATC I made a few months ago:

Ready For Take Off

This distressed Artist Trading Card is created on a 2.5 x 3.5 inch distressed playing card with an authentic vintage Good Housekeeping Magazine image, ephemera and dimensional wings (that Mom ~jolenemarie~ made out of Shrinky Dink).

I think that this one may be my favorite-I love the 3 dimensionality of the shrinky wings. I just recently "discovered" shrinkies!

Thank you WIPS and Balkandina!
When I saw the little boy, he looked so intent on doing something. He looked all decked out to go flying ... then I thought: "What if he were a winged-being who had dreams to fly an airplane?"  Just because he had the ability to fly doesn't mean he didn't dream of being a pilot. Sort of like how many of us have the ability to run, but that doesn't stop us from dreaming of running a marathon.

I love that card BellaKarma - that little boy does look determined! Almost like he's ready to fly a mission... And those wings are perfect! I can never get shrink it to work that good! Tell your mom she did good!
I love the vintageness and then the touches of color Smiley

It's been way too long since I've last peeked in! I've been having some health issues that at first hindered my concentration to make art; now it has motivated once again to make art!

I've been blogging a special "column" on my blog called "Bringing Crafty Back", and I came across this ATC back in 2004:

I am a writer even when it comes to ATCs; therefore, I enjoy plotting a story using 2-3 images and a handful of words. One of my favorite ATCs I've made is "NEW RELEASE." The title was another way of conveying that the man has "come out." It's difficult to tell in the photograph (the ATC is covered in tulle) that the hand on the dress is very masculine looking, adding to the story that this man (Guess who he is!) is a transvestite. The woman is holding up a make-up box to him with the word "accepted" inside. The music notes will make sense for those who guess the man correctly! Wink
