By that you mean bumping off the lesser hobbies... like golf and bird watching? I hear the Stamp collecting mafia is pretty mean, though. Wink

I would try to be interested and active, but I can't make any promises... I could also probably entice a couple of people to join in (I know a few knitters/jewelry makers/general artsy persons). The aforementioned wedding is taking up all of my brain and crafting power.

But if anyone really likes rubber cement, I'll be assembling invitations sometimes next week.

I thought about it and talked about it with crafty friends and I don't want to start a craft mafia anymore. They mostly focus on selling crafts and marketing them. I want to make a craft group that is more about the act of crafting. Contact me here if you are interested. Or on myspace. www.myspace.com/stuck_in_the_darkness I already had a business offer their place to me if I started a craft group.

Well, due to my being a creep. I went to your craftster profile, found your myspace address and clicked on the link. When the page opened I figured out I am friends with your sister, if she is the first person in your top friends. I haven't seen her in ages.

Excellent, we are growing strong. So perhaps we should arrange another meeting. Does anyone have ideas? Some good midpoints might be the Panera in Chicopee (comfy chairs, free internet, liberal loitering policies), Barnes and Noble Holyoke. THere are a number of libraries, although there are considerably fewer comfy chairs. Also, I haven't been paying much attention to it, but it must almost be time for holiday bazaars/Craft fairs. Or if anyone is willing to host a group of crafty strangers, we could try that avenue.

i'm totally down to meet up with anyone, anytime. b&n or panera both sound good. but im personally open to anywhere Smiley

i'm not doing any bizarres or fairs this season because i'm in school full time, and chase a one year old every where (and im 6 months pregnant with our second child!). i still try to get some crafting in though.

but it would be really great to meet fellow craft(sters)!

I would love to go to a craft night in the Holyoke/Chicopee area!
