I took out my sewing machine this weekend for the first time in months and made myself a case to store my crochet hooks in.  I didn't use a pattern, but I've seen a ton of cases like this online...it's been on my to-do list for months.   Wink  Even though my photos insist I made these in 2005, it's wrong...I just need to figure out how to set the date still.

open:

The top of it folds down and there are 3 little snaps to make sure my hooks can't escape....and I added ribbon to hold my stitch markers.

all rolled up:

I also made these guys in the last week or so.  Neither of the patterns are original, but I can't remember where I saw them....either here or crochetville...if anyone wants them though, I can try to dig them up.  Smiley  I just recently attempted making stuffed things with crochet and I'm pretty sure I'm already addicted.

Very practical and very cute!  Your subject line sounds like a great title for a detective novel!  Imagine a crack team of sleuths - a hooker, a pig and a turtle - fighting crime and living large, taking on their toughest case yet....

Great work! Your pig and turtle are too cute. I've been meaning to make a hook holder just like that, I'm just too lazy to break out the sewing machine.  Grin

Everything is cute.  I really need to make a hook roll and I still haven't done it.

I'll look for them tomorrow when I get back from class, it's my bedtime now.  Smiley  I'm sure I have them bookmarked....maybe it's the motivation I need to clean up the space I call my favorites, I can't find anything anymore.  Cool
