the thought of a 6" tall don cherry is TERRIFYING!  Wink somehow miniatures can be scarier than the real thing...

i'm not a huge hockey fan though... (i know, i know, how uncanadian... i like other things though - like curling! i'm still canadian!)

I think this swap would be great, though it would be hard to get into the spirit when your team didn't make the playoffs.  Cry

Though not my team, I was in Ottawa last May when the Sens were still in the running and it was insane!  I remember doing a bus tour of the city and at one of the embassys was a huge Senators flag draped over the front entrance.

Ooh, hockey hockey hockey...

Maybe just an NHL swap instead of a Playoffs swap?

*cheers on her Devils*

I LOVE HOCKEY!!!!  Grin

And I miss Don Cherry SO MUCH.  You wouldn't believe how hard it is to describe Don and Hockey Night in Canada to people here in the South, they just don't get it...

Yeah, he is kind of hard to 'get', even for people who see him every Saturday night.  Believe me, there are nights when I don't get him either and I've been watching him since I was a little girl.

Sometimes he makes complete and absolute sense...(no touch icing anyone) and sometimes he a giant ass ...(his attitude toward foreign and french players).
