Save your money!   Smiley  Go here instead:  www.soapdishforum.com  Search and you will find anything you want to know about making soap.  Once I found this site, I gave ALL my books away.

DBrown, If you are still looking for a book, The Soapmaker's Companion by Susan Miller Cavitch is a good all around starter for making soap from scratch.

You can check out the "Everything Soapmaking Book" by Alicia Grosso. The pictures are black and white, but she has the color pics on Flickr.
