This dress is my own pattern, I love it!

cool back:

closeup of fabric:
The yellow fabric is sheer, and the fruits/flowers are mesh, so the entire dress is lined.

This dress has such pretty fabric...but I didn't make this pattern. It was a burda pattern, and it was free...I forget which one it was, but its under the "free patterns" list in this board. The pattern worked OK...I had to do a lot of tinkering with the sleeves. I would also suggest going down a size or trying out the waistband size to pick which size you are.

sorry for the odd facial expression. Its hard to see, their is a waistband part, the sleeves are elasticized on the bottom, and the skirt has inverted box pleats. The back isnt too interesting, just darted and zip up.

Hope you guys like them!

I love the first dress! And the fabric is so awesome. Where did you find the mesh flowers/fruits?

I got the yellow fabric really really cheat at www.fashionfabricsc lub.com
They are kinda hit or miss- that fabric turned out awesome (but it wasnt advertised well, I thought it was a jersey knit and it turned out to be like...thin and mesh cotton.)
Their fabrics are really cheap (especially on sale) but sometimes bad quality so i dunno, but worth a look.

Oh nice! Thanks, they have some pretty nice stuff...and the right price too.
That's kind of irritating that it ends up not being what they say it is, though.

really like the first one, the one you designed.  i was just looking last weekend for a pattern to make a dress similar to that at the top but more of a straight skirt at the bottom, but i love the way you did it.

very nice work! They are both very cool in fabric and style and just seem to work together.
