You know those people who are just a couple of years behind the trends? Um, I guess that's me. On to the photos...

Clapotis knit from a wool/silk blend I bought this year at Stitches West:

And an Anthropologie-Inspired Capelet in Kool-Aid dyed wool:

Details on the blog here and here.

I love kool-aid dyeing!  And I also really like how the capelet matches the dress/shirt underneath!  Did you dye the yarn specifically for the capelet/dress outfit?

The clapotis is a classic, so it doesn't matter how late you knit it! I think I will make one every year, I love it so much!

Your items are beautiful! The kool-aid dyed yarn is a gorgeous color!

Good job!  Perhaps everyone has knit these, but not necessarily with success....  my anthro capelet ended up child-sized!

I like your closure on the capelet!  Nice mod.

They're both beautiful! Who cares if everyone's already done them? People will continue to do so. I have yet to make the capelet and I lost my clapotis so I need to make another one.

I really love the yarns you used for both. The colors are very nice.
