that is so cute. i have tons of that fabric, i loved it too and bought a bunch. it was super cheap at wal mart. i guess i could make a skirt since it's made for that but i like the idea of your bag a lot better Smiley

That is too cute. I love the city scene. I will now be on the look out for it at Walmart.

Thank You everyone!

I actually didn't purchase my fabric from wal-mart, but instead at Fabricville. So I would keep my eye open other places besides wal-mart. Smiley

yeah, when i was at wal mart (the only store near me  Sad ), the sewing counter lady told me lots of the fabrics come from other stores, even like joann's. it's why you might find some with the bottom part cut off so you can't see the company name.

if you live in st. robert, mo though, wal mart still has that fabric, in pink and black, and i think it's $1 a yard now (it was $2 when i bought it).

perilously_divine: did you use a pattern for your bag or are you a sewing expert and able to wing things like that?

Expert no, Resourseful YES!.  Pencil, top of my laundry basket and bristol board. I dont tend to pile alot of things in it so there is no gusset. Really quicky thing to make.

Oh and I am guessing it was on sale at Fabricville to because I got it in the remnants bin, and for like .9m it was 1 something!

God I love those bins!!!
