I had printed off this pattern quite awhile back but every time I looked at the picture I kept putting off making it because I thought the stitch would be hard to do...turned out I was wrong.  It was easy to do and can't wait to make another one...this one was sent to a friend in Louisiana.  I made it out of Caron Simply Soft in Off White and it is soooo soft.

I also made a no hair cap for another friend in North Carolina who is losing her hair from chemo...she said she wears it all the time and people think she has hair till they look closer...and she doesn't have to worry about gray hairs LOL

They are both beautiful, great job! And that is awfully nice of you to make them for two of your friends Smiley The hats are pretty Smiley

Both are beautifully made.  I've done the butterfly stitch using a knitting machine but never doing it with hand knitting.  I'll have to give it a try.
Well done.
