Pattern: Inga Hat a free pattern from Ewenique Fiber
http://eweniquefiber.blogspot.com/2006/11/free-knitting-pattern-inga-hat.html
Yarn: KnitPicks Merino Style in Mint (23445) , Vanilla (23444), and Rhubarb (23443)
Needles: Addi Turbo size 3 16 circular, Denise size 5 17 circular

I am quite pleased with how this hat turned out!  There are so many things I like about it: the yarn, the colors, and the way the pattern really came together row by row.  I wish I would have loosened up while knitting it, it is pretty puckered from my floats being too tight.  I didn't keep my color dominance the same throughout either, I don't think.  It's definitely not perfect, but I love it all the same!  Grin

Let me know what you think, I bought the pattern for EunnyJang's Anemoi Mitts so I'm hoping I can dive into those now that I have a little practice with stranded knitting.

There's some more info and reflections on the process on the blog if you're interested!

It looks so good!  For you 1st Fair Isle, it's fantastic.  I just did my 1st Fair Isle, too, and mine is super tight.  It must be something you have to train yourself to knit looser.

Wow, so so gorgeous!  (My fair isle always ends up tight and puckered.)  The pattern looks like so much fun!  Grin

This is amazing. A lot of times I see tacky, folksy fairisle (which is why I haven't taught myself yet  Undecided), but this is really classic and awesome! I might have to try to knit one of my own up!

Wow your first fair isle? It's so pretty! I can only hope mine will be half as good, when I get up the guts to try it. I'm so jealous!

It is really fun.  Once I started I couldn't put it down.  I knit on it almost constantly for two days!

Thanks, I just saw the pattern and instantly knew I had to have it.  The second my yarn arrived I jumped right in.  It was so fun!

Thank you, I love the colors too. Pink, green, and white has to be one of my all time favorite combos Smiley

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, I guess "loosening up" is just something I'll have to get used to.  It's so hard not to pull on that extra yarn when it's right there!
