The sweet cherries bag was the prototype and after scaling down the bag a little, this was the outcome.  It is still a roomy 15 inches wide, 11 inches tall and 8 inches deep across the bottom.  With the divider pocket in the middle, one side will be used for mom's stuff (has a zipper pocket and three other pockets, plus a key holder) and the other side for baby (has three pockets and two fabric covered bottle/cup holders).  The center zipper pocket can be used for diapers and wipes or anything else.  I hope she likes it.

That's gorgeous. I love the colors and the style. The baby bottle/cup holder are awesome. I don't have any babies myself but I would definitely like a bag like this when I do.  Smiley

Steal away...steal away...I've gotten so many great ideas here myself, it's nice that someone wants to do something that I've done.

As far as the divider...I've only made this style twice and it gets easier each time, but it is still tricky.  I used the basic jordy pattern and just changed the size.  For the divider you cut a rectangle as tall as you want it to go (I didn't make mine go up to the top so that I could close the bag with a magnetic snap above it) then you cut it just a little wider than the cut out at the bottom of the jordy pattern.  When I sewed it to the sides, there will be extra fabric from the lining, as it is wider than the pocket.  That's ok.  Just line up the side with the pocket and sew.  Oh, the bottom of the pocket will be lined up with the bottom of the top part of the jordy.  Then you have to pull up the two bottom parts of the jody and make them even with the bottom of the pocket and sew but don't sew all the way.  Because of the pocket, you can't pull the bag through the corner, pull it through the middle of the bottom.  Sew up both corners like normal.  I don't know if this makes any sense.  As I'm writing it, it sounds quite confusing, but I don't know how to say it.  If you have any questions, ask me.

Thanks for the nice comments.

I have been looking everywhere for this fabric.  I am a huge fan of pink and brown and this disco dots is great.  Where did you get it?  The bag is super cute!
