I decided that this year I would knit my first sweater, and I did! It was a pattern from an issure of knit.1, I shortened the sleeves a little bit. Here it is worn withthe button in front, like it's suppose to worn.

The wristwarmers in this picture were made by me too. Smiley

I used homespun instead of what was called for. I'm still debating if I really like it or not... I guess I do considering I do tent to wear it a lot.  Smiley

Ha ha I agree, that kind of shrug just begs for ballet arms.

I'm hoping to do a similar shrug. It'd be my second knitting project ever, did it take you long?

It took me a little longer than I expected, but that was mostly because I work so much and didn't always take it to work, or work on it at home every night. about 2 weeks?? Like I said, I didn't work on it as much as I could have.
