yeah.... i think i've caught the sock bug...

this would be the point where i explain how the camera added 5 inches to the length of my foot, but i wont lie... i'm 5'11" and dammit, my size 11's help me balance  Tongue

I love this pattern, simple, great fit, looks good with my favorite kinds of yarns, i will definitely be making more jaywalkers.

pattern: jaywalkers
yarn:  artyarns ultramerino 4, color ? white/brown/aqua/yellow
needles: size 1 inox dpns

I wouldn't have thought to do a contrsating heel/toe/cuff with this pattern but it looks fantastic!  Very beautiful socks.

Your socks look great!  The yarn works perfectly with the pattern.  I just finished my first pair of socks (toe-up) and am planning these for my second pair.  Your wonderful result is encouraging to me.  I will start them as soon as I finish the baby socks I started (for the third time) last night.

Wait...wouldn't that make the jaywalkers my third pair of socks Huh

the idea for the contrasting cuff/heel/toe was born out of my cheapness, i really wanted to make one skein of artyarns go the whole way. But it did'nt work, i ended up having to buy another one, and of course i have half of the skein left over so i should've made the socks taller! Oh well!

I love the colors. This might be my favorite pair of jaywalkers that I've seen.

Welcome to the sock addiction. It's wonderful.

Those are so pretty! I love the toes & heels!!!!! I'm on my eighth pair of socks, which happen to be my first Jaywalkers, and I am on the 2nd sock. I absolutely love this pattern and will be using it again (and again.)

Welcome to the addiction!

Love love love that yarn. Jaywalkers are awesome no matter what, but with this yarn and the heel/cuff brown, they are even better. Thanks for inspiring me to get going on my second one...

I love these!  Jaywalkers are awesome.  Also, I'm 6'1" and wear a 12, so you're not alone with the big feet... it's awesome when you can make your own socks because you don't have to stretch them all out to get them to fit, ha.
