I love it!  I bet that would look beautiful in any color!  So well done, too.  Did you use hot glue?  I'd think that would melt the petals if you did...

Yes, I used a glue gun, since I cut all the petals off the silk flowers, there was no plastic left to melt when I glued the petals to the frame.  You know, I had not thought of this being a good idea for Mother's Day.  Now, I'm going to have to make another one for my mom!  I covered a lampshade and a chair seat for my office.  Love it.  Very Frenchie fun.  Thanks for the kuddos and the new idea.  That's why I love this site.
