I'm a total knitting noooob, did you make that on a spool knitter or needles?

I love it!

Yeah me too I cannot knit anything thats meant to be wearable Grin So I have always used spool / bobbin knitters. I have even invented my own spools in larger and larger sizes to accomadate my lack of real knitting skills.

If you take a look at this link to a sweater I made using a bobbin you'll get the idea......There are also some pics of the bobbins I made too.

Yeah I made it BUT I don't actually wear it Undecided

but the spool knitting is flexible in terms of scale.  Just noticed you're a moderator I thought you lot could do ANYTHING crafty including knitting. Wink

Yeah go on and have a go  and don't forget to post pics..........

The inspiration for the one I made was made by felting and it was all in one dark grey colour and I have to say it was absolutely lush but my felting skills are sadly rubbish so I thought the bobbin method would do the job just as well. I may be tempted in the future to do a one colour version or maybe use 'hairier' wool.

Whatever you do don't knit your pieces and go ahead merrily turning them into ring shapes WITHOUT linking them to each other like I did Huh  Tongue  DOH!

It also doesn't take long I made this over one weekend whilst watching the telly too.
