i started with a plastic mesh canvase about 2ft square, some awesome yarn, and i printed out the image that i wanted on computer paper.

then i traced the image onto the mesh with a sharpie, trying to fallow the lines as closely as i could.

then marked the parts that were to be black, and i stitched my outline.

and i fully stcithed in the black, and then filled in the white

and now i have a rug, that i cant bear to walk on!

That's really cool.  I'm needing to make some rugs for my new house.  How big is the one you made?  Is it the size of computer paper?

Great job!  You could use it as a wall hanging instead of a rug if you can't bear to walk on it!  Thanks for the tutorial!

How awesome is that!? I would love to take this idea and do a latch-hook project, but line stitching? Is that where you do just one diagonal stitch? I used to love those projects! Smiley
