Originally used to ward off evil spirits. Some place them by the windows (or at least that is what I have seen in the movies). Anyway, I threw these together the other day. Scrap wood, made a stencil, ebony stain and some paint. The white ones, when looked at close and in person, look like they are made from stone. Voila. No more evil spirits. Or no more rings on the table. I think they will make great coasters too. lol

Just be careful where you place them -it effects the feng shui of your home. But very cool and professional looking paint job!
