The texturing on the bust is one of my favourite bits - I suppose it's each to their own.  I love the back too.

It's very nice. Do you have an "action" shot, ie, on a person?

p.s I agree about the critical eye that we all seem to have for our own work. We notice things that nobody else would.

I have photos of me wearing it, I just hate them so much.. The dress doesn't look good on me at all..

I too really like the gathering on the bust.  I guess it is the contrast and the textures are what really intrigues me about it.

I love this dress. To me it has a Art Deco period feel. All you need is a mink stole and some greyhounds. Actually I like the cups with texture. I think they help take your eye up the dress. Fantastic job!

Thank you Smiley They started searching for contestants for the Norwegian Project Runway at the end of last year/beginning of this year and I thought about trying out. But in Oct06 I participated in the Norwegian Championship in dressmaking and won the silver medal and have spent the beginning of this year trying out for the Olympics (World Skills) and since Project Runway and World Skills tryouts crashed, I chose to go with World Skills, since that's where I have the biggest chance of making it..
BTW,  The final tryout for World Skills is in one week, so I'll let you know how it went Smiley

I didn't make it to World Skills Sad Sad I've been the judges favorite ever since the Norwegian Championship, but then they suddenly decided to go with a a lot less experienced girl who didn't even make it to the top 3 in the Norwegian Championship (I came in second..).. Anyway, that kinda sucks!!
