and I would love suggestion on where to shop - crafts, fabric, vintage goodies Smiley I'd also know what flea markets are best. Any help is much appreciated Smiley

I'm making a craftster quilt using the Bright Hopes block. Wanna swap a block?

Look for puces (flea markets) in the north of Paris. I'm sorry this is a bit vague, I've forgotten the details, but it will at least be a starting point.

Don't know if you still need those information but here are some advice from a parisienne :
- Flea markets : the most typical are "Les puces de St Ouen" you can access them by the subway line 13 "Porte de St Ouen" or more line 4 "Porte de Clignancourt". But it's quite expensive. Inside the flea market you'll find different markets, I suggest you to go to "Vernaison" which is the most ancient and nice. And cheaper. Also you can go to "Les puces de vanves" i can't remember the subway stop but i think it's "Porte de vanves", but only on weekends.

- Craft stores : THE place you need to go is "March St Pierre" right next to the Sacr coeur Church on top of la butte Montmartre. Subway is either "Anvers" or "Abesses". Look in the streets around you'll find plenty of other fabrics stores.

I know I'm late, but for everybody who wants to go fabric shopping in Paris I recommend the "Sentier"
