Small tea tins

Hi all!  I am new to these message boards -- I'm so happy to have found them!

I have 7 small sliver colored tea tins -- they are about 1.75"x1.75"x2.5" in size.  They have a big lable on one side that I assume I can remove if I need to.

So what do I do with them?  I can't think of anything to store in them.  I've thought of decopaging a couple of them and using them for the loose tea I take to work, but after that, I'm stumped.

Ideas?

Turn into a mini shrine

Make it a small desktop planter or vase (depending on if it is tall or wide)

glue several to a board and mount the board as a wall organizer for pens

I've seen a really cool "spice rack" where you glue magnets onto the bottom of the metal containers and then hang a piece of metal on the wall and then the spice containers stick on to that sort of sideways. It looked really neat. You could also just use the fridge as the metal surface.

you could also make a secret place for bedside "unmentionable" items that you want hidden from view but kept near your bedside. put something threatening but funny or cute on the top of the lid, like a retro sticker of a black widow spider or scorpion.

Did you see the cool "travel candles" on another part of crafster that people were making out of old Altoid tins? (sorry. can't remember what category...just do a search?) Maybe you could put candles in your tins? Or you could cover them with sticky paper (or decoupage 'em) slap a couple of magnets on the back and use them as fridge magnet/holders for small pencils/pens/twist ties, pony tail holders, whatever.

Thanks so much for all the cool ideas -- I'm leaning toward the candle idea, although I'm still not sure.  For some reason, I really want to paint them -- I suppose funky painted travel candles are in order then, huh?
