as for the question about the neck, i just cut it into a scoop neck and then took pieces of extra fabric from the sweatshirt i had left over and sewed it on in about 4-5 pieces just around the collar.

i love the concept of reconstruction, and i think your project is great, looks like a sweatshirt straight out of urban outfitters. it makes me want to go to savers and buy tons of old shirts and turn them into something new to wear.

i didn't take the sleeves off though.  Cheesy
i just flipped it inside out and drew a rough outline with a purple crayon roughly 2 inches or so on the fabric on the shirt to make it fit me... does that make sense?
