I made this using the "Roxi" pattern from not your mamas knitting. i used the recommended yarn, which was my downfall. it knits up lovely, the yarn wasn't the problem... the Joann around me did not have enough for the sweater! i needed 8 balls, and I'd only bought 5.  So i had to find another Joann, and ended up getting lost on the way back home. i ended up in downtown Cleveland, and very confused. i then overcompensated and landed in collonwood, a semi-horrible area. but in the end, I got the yarn,  and that was all that mattered.

I never realized how much dye-lots mattered until this. the 2 skeins from the other Joann were significantly different. As you can see, the left sleeve is rather muted.

us size 15's, lion brand landscapes. I made a size medium.

I highly recommend this pattern, and the book. It was written rather clearly, and was a fairly quick knit (3ish days?) I plan on making another in a less garish color. And not so expensive.

unbuttoned

partially buttoned. My expression was pretty heinous, hence the checkers. Really, craftsters.

and feedback?

Looks great! It's too busy for my taste, but honestly, if you hadn't mentioned the slight issue with the differing dyelots, I wouldn't have noticed. I like the sweater itself a lot!!

Whoa! It's bright, but fun. The multi-buttons make it work! My fave Landscpaes colorway is 'Country Sunset' (i think).  It's deep jewel tones and is so pretty. My only question is, You knit it on size 5's? Wasn't that a crazy tight knit? It's a bulky yarn isn't it? Maybe I read that wrong!?

I second that - the buttons really make the sweater. It looks like it's fun to wear, and I bet you get a lot of compliments on it.  Smiley
