I chopped the sleeves off of an old sweater and added some elactic to the top to make some funky legwarmers, but now I don't know how to wear them. How  do you wear legwarmers? With jeans? Tucked in? Underneath the jeans? I'm legwarmer challenged. Sad

I wanna swap! I can knit and crochet pretty much anything (hats, wristwarmers, scarves, Check my blog to see).

I had legwarmers just like those (only different colors i think) when i was a kid. I always wore them with skirts/dresses (to keep my legs warm in winter) usually over tights. I think when I've seen them recently they've been over leggings/ tights with like short denim skirts or maybe a long tunic. But I'm not too sure. (its been probably 15 years since I wore any) Yours are way cute!! Good idea! I hope you find a way to wear them!

I see most people wearing them with a short skirt, tights, and ballet flats.  I don't have enough 80s fever in me to wear them, but they do seem to be all the rage.  You could probably do a Google image search of "leg warmers" and see different ways to wear them.

Eco-friendly items, patterns, hippies, and more.

I'm on Ravelry, too!

i wear them just over socks. and i wear them with short pants (like ones that hit just below the knee) and i would also wear them with skirts (i usually wear them with long skirts or just below the knees) but that was when it was chilly out.. so i dont really know how to wear them for more "fashionable" stylins.
