I went from a golden sort of blonde to a brown close to my natural color about a year ago.  It worked really well for me, but the color on the box doesn't always match what you end up with... so you might end up with visible roots after a little while, you might not.

Of course, brown hair with a slightly different shade of brown roots is a LOT less noticeable than blond hair with dark roots.

Hello!  Anyone here super clever with hair styles?  I've had the same sort of hair for a while now, and it's getting much too long.  Here are some recent pictures of me... my hair is back, but my face shape is there and such.

I like my bangs, and I like the general colour.  I do not like how long it is.

I'd like to go shorter, and perhaps with some layers, but not sure how to go about getting them... I've only gotten layers once before, and I don't know what kind would suit me best, if any.

(Edit!) Maybe something like this... style, not colour, and a bit shorter?  Opinions?

Any ideas?

I hate when little kids do that. They generally piss me off 99% of the time.

Need help. Posted my before/after photos in the other thread. Thought I'd re-ask my questions here. The red is growing out...husband is pushing for black, maybe with a few purple streaks (I'm not so sure).

Also need help picking a hairstyle. I'm pretty low maintenance but would like something better. Can't decide between short/long, and can't figure out how to get my hair to part any way but down the middle.

As you can tell, I've never done anything with my hair (or makeup) before.

Me, pretty much now (the red is not as bright anymore):

hey so i have really fine straight almost shoulderlenght hair, with a cowlick in front. im getting my haircut on wednesday and im really tempted to go short but im so scared! i wear my hair up all the time because i like the it off my face and stuff so i think a short style would look good on me. since i haev a cowlick its hard to get nice sidebangs, but do you guys have any pictures of cute short cuts? im thinking of keeping the front and top longer than the back or bottom.

Me again, sorry. I've picked a style I like, but I'm not sure I have the face to pull it off. I'm still a little heavy from my baby (excuses, I know!). My pic is two posts above, but the red has almost faded back to my original brown. Thinking of going black w/purple also.

I like this. Think it'd look ok? She's just way too cute too, but I'm not, so....whatever.:
