Would hot rollers work? How about a big barrel curling iron?

Okay, so I'm going to Europe for vacation and I have a couple question on hairstyles.

1. What is the comfiest hairstyle to wear on the plane?

2. What are some fast and easy hairstyles, yet still pretty that I can do?

3. What hair accessories would you recommend I bring?

4. Should I bring my own shampoo, condish, and body wash in case the hotel's irritates me?

if you wanna dye it blue or green you'll need to bleach it out first. and use a DEEP conditioner. dont want it to break off like mine did :p

You might wanna bleach it a little or use a dark color, when I did blue over that color it took a bit more dye than normal and it bled out faster. But other then that it shouldn't be too much of a problem. You could always get the dye you want and do a strand test to see what it does. Who knows it might work

Okay, so I'm going to Europe for vacation and I have a couple question on hairstyles.

1. What is the comfiest hairstyle to wear on the plane? Nothing with a ponytail or accessories on the back of your head. Cheesy

2. What are some fast and easy hairstyles, yet still pretty that I can do? What hairstyles do you do now?  I wouldn't recommend trying anything new, if you're going for fast styles.

3. What hair accessories would you recommend I bring? Whatever you usually wear/use!

4. Should I bring my own shampoo, condish, and body wash in case the hotel's irritates me?  YES.  You'll be in lots of photos, I'm sure.  Would you really want to risk a bad hair day due to products you aren't used to?

I just came back from a 2 week european trip in April. Bring hair elastics, lots and lots because you will lose a few. Bring a soft head band so that when you sleep on the plane or on the train your hair will stay out of your mouth. Bring a hat on those days that a bad hair day can't be avoided. I love those chinese hair sticks because it makes for a very put together style without a ton of effort.
If you love your products bring them with you. But pack them in extra plastic so they don't expode and ruin your suitcase and everything inside. If you are only bringing a carry on bag (like I did  because it makes travel from country to country much much easier) remember no bottles over 2 oz and only as many as you can fit into a sendwich size ziplock.

For the plane, a low ponytail or even better loose pigtails will keep your hair tame and off your face. Another trick is to tie a bandana around your head so that you don't get an attack of the frizzies from yucky airplane air.

I'm a hairdresser. Green or blue probably won't get you anything good. Your hair is orangey.  Think about the color wheel. What do orange and blue make? Not much. It would be a weird muddy color with a blue-ish tint maybe.  To get true blue and greens you need almost white hair. Even if you get the hair to the yellow stage what do blue and yellow make? Green.  Green and yellow make yellow-green.. Etc... If you put something over this other than a red or a brown or black its doubtful that that reddish color will not show through.  If you want green or  blue hair all of this color needs to be removed.

Actually, I've dyed my hair blue before and blue TAKES OVER ANY COLOR!  Seriously.  I've dyed blue over hot pink (trying to get purple) and got BLUE.  I've mixed blue and pink trying to get purple, and got BLUE.

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.

It's just a general rule of thumb. It depends on what shade of blue you are using too.  Of course a really dark shade of anything can cover more.  I'm just sharing some basic rules as a color educator.  You can try anything and experiment. But I'm just offering advice for predictable results.
