Bangs question.

What are the best type of bangs to have for someone who has thin hair? I kind of want bangs that go straight across my forehead (what are those kind even called?) by I'm not sure if they'd look good on me. And I'd like to also be able to push them to the side, side swept. I've tried to have my hair to where it was "piece-y" if you get what I'm talking about, haha.. but the hairstylist who did it wasn't all that good at it, and it didn't at all look the way I wanted it to, it just looked like a normal cut. I've been growing my bangs out for about two, three months, but I don't like it when all of my hair is one length, so you know. Any suggestions for me? I don't want boring hair anymore!  Roll Eyes

Argh... I just got really awful too-short, blunt, straight-across bangs myself because the hairstylist had no idea what she was doing...

I like bangs that are sideswept and sort of choppy and uneven.  It's how mine were before this last time I had them cut.  Have the person cutting them use a razor instead of scissors, it helps

For uneven sideswept bangs, my hairdresser always uses the razor. It helps to also go to someone who knows what they're doing too. My hairdresser is a perfectionist and VERY unique, so I always end up with a unique hairstyle.

I guess I got extremely lucky. Only complaint is that she has way too much fun with hair products  Cheesy

my hair is starting to annoy me, so i need to get a haircut soon.  i want to change it up a lil bit cuz, ya know, it's summer, time to have some fun and whatnot.  i only want to cut 2 or so inches off though...i'd be willing to go a lil shorter than that, but not too short...
here's what my hair currently looks like:

do you wonderfull people have any suggestions?

Puppy_girl: It sounds like you kinda DON'T want to cut your hair. If you you are looking for a change I'd say just cut your bangs, but still in a shaggy style. It looks like your previous hair cut is growing out very nicely, and will continue to do so. That's what I do. I go into my hair dresser and tell him, he won't see me for another year and I want a cut that will look great then.
you can always pull it back in a baby tail if you want it off yer neck.
Then again if its really hot where you are... I dunno, a Bob?

i would say to get bangs that kinda cover your eyebrows. and you can either have them razor cut them, or point cut them. it would come out really cool if they were point cut. also, if you don't like it all one length, i think you should get it angled in the front as well, and for the angle to start at about your cheek bones. i think it would look really well

Does anyone know of any really good products to make wavy hair wavier without the crunchiness? I alllwaayyss get the crunchy hair, and I hate it. And when it doesn't make it crunchy, it just doesn't work at all or it falls flat really quickly. It's so frustrating.  Angry

Not sure how much this would work on your hair, but I've found that when I use both the Fructis curl mousse and hair gel, my hair holds almost as well as with just the gel, and doesn't crunch =)
