I love this thread! Can't believe I just now found it. everyone's hair looks so great! Here's a pic of mine from a few months ago, you can't see the vibrancy of the colors so great, but it's the only picture I have. Currently my hair is still blue, but Black underneath and blonde bangs. The blue Just WILL NOT LEAVE!

Well, here's me before cutting my hair today:

Then I saw this picture and decided to go to my favorite salon to get my hair cut like it:

Here's how it looked after leaving the salon:

Can we say "soccer mom"? I didn't really like the bangs at all. I mean, in the picture, the bangs are what make the haircut so great. Good thing the cut only cost me 20 bucks.

I had to cut some more bangs myself:

And this is what it looks like now. I think it's better...:

It will probably look completely different after I wash it. Maybe better, maybe worse. At least I tried something new, eh? Good thing hair grows back.  Smiley

You did the right thing liebschien! That picture has some extreme fringe going on, cut pretty far back and sideways. I think your trim was quite an improvement.

I like the "after the after" cut the best! The additional bangs changed the shape - not soccer-momish at all! Yay for bangs!!

i like how you fixed your haircut!
if you don't have the time to curl it like the inspiration picture, flatironing it straight could make it less mom-ish.
i had that haircut a while ago and flatironing made it look more like a style.

P.S box color makes your hair fall out, go to sallys and get some developer and color to mix together. Not Ferria!!!

is feria really that bad?  it's the only red that stays bright for more than a couple of days for me.

Heh, yeah supposedly. It has textile dyes in it. I use it, knowing well how bad it is, because- like you- it's the longest-lasting red out there. Personally, I don't care how much it kills my hair, because hair grows back and I have really REALLY resilient hair as it is. But if it's something you worry about I'd avoid Feria.
