I wanted a change since my roots were growing out & looked terrible so I put burgundy over them which just made my roots purple and my blonde this greyish brown as seen here.  The brown is more toward the bottom of the pic, with that greenish color in it.  ugh my hair is a mess...

I then went and bougth Lucious Rasberries and it turned my brown hair PINK!

I really like it and since I dont have to get a job its great.  The color just runs a lot so I'm trying to not wash my hair as much as I did...thus that terrible picture...I just love the color.  And I didn't need to bleach it, it just covered all the brown!  The bangs and some hair in the front sideburn area is still black cos I separated it but thats just the style I like.

Looks good runyerpockets, I like the way that raspberry colour turned out.
Dunno if you know this trick...it sucks, but try to wash your hair with cold/cool water, it won't open up your hair like hot water and it'll keep it from fading as fast.  Also, stay away from claifiying shampoos, they make the dye come out a lot faster.
And I'm diggin the dread-lets, hybercon ^_^

Yeah, I've only been showering in cold water since I did it but it still fades really bad everytime.  Pink dye everywhere.  And they're not dreads (I WISH!  but then I couldn't do rolls or anything with it), haha, my hair is just THAT GROSS!  I don't want my color to wash out much more until I can actually show it off so I've just given up on getting it wet for about a week at a time.

runyerpockets, if you use conditioner and rinse it out really well you should only need a shampoo or two per week.  I dunno if you are already down to that much or not, just mentioning.  Also, I don't know how much those "clarifying rinses" (you know, vinegar and water, that kind of stuff) would cause running, but maybe they would be better than shampoo?

I like penguins, stars, rainbows and blue.
If your project has any of these, don't be surprised to see me post in it! Cheesy

i have a very similar color (diretions: red rose), and my trick is to add just a little of the color (very little will do) to the conditioner and leave it in for a few minutes (like while shaiving my legs or so) and ten rinse with cold water. you might want to use a brush or latex gloves for that, because (i'm sure you've come across that, too) the color stains your fingernails, too.
oh, and when you shampoo, you dont need to shampoo all your hair ever time, shampooing at the roots will do, because when rinsing the shampooey water will clean the lengths of your hair too, and washes out less of the color.
just thouht you might wanna try...
