Mixed colors also get my vote. I did mine shades of blues and greens once and it looked like a watercolor painting.

Okay...here is the long life, history, and torture of my hair. Are you ready??

We start out at age thirteen or so...pink streaks, the dye job that started it all. But sadly I can not find a good picture of it.

Then we did a half and half job, half black half hot pink but the pink faded out to a very ugly color, so we tried to dye it back to my natural color. That was the first time we discovered that black doesn't go away! So I ended up with half black half brown.

After about five months of growing it out and dyeing over and over it eventually had a somewhat natural look.
Then we took a big plunge and went for a dark blue and got this!

Then  Volleyball season came around and you cant have "unnatural hair colors" so we went for brown.

Then I decided this was too natural , so I added a reddish tint to it in the middle of the season.
Season has been over for a few weeks and it is fading to a "natural-ish" color.

Then a few weeks later I decide purple is a pretty color!

Then it starts fading...

Then I decide red is my color so I will do red again. And I needed a hair cut, so two in one!!

Then it fades out and grows out, so I cut it again and did a different red...

Then just a week ago I added highlights,

It was going to be black with blue highlights, but I like this too much, so next time it will be black and blue!
So yes, there it is my hairs life in the last three years!! After the blue it would not hold a color because of the bleach, but now that it is all cut out it actually looks like real hair again.

And props to my momma who stays up late to do all of this!!! lobe you momma!

Retro- ok, I shall post a pic.  I also love how you added "ness" onto something that doesn't really need it- I do that all the time!  Smiley
